Worship With Us
We welcome you to worship with us every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
What to Expect
First time: You will be greeted by one of our congregants with a weekly bulletin and a welcome to the Episcopal Church.
You will hear scripture, God’s Holy Word. Normally, there will be a reading from the Old Testament, a Psalm, an Epistle, and a reading from the Gospels.
A short sermon. We affirm our beliefs with one of the traditional creeds of the Church. We offer prayers for the Church, the nation, the world, our local community, those in need, and for the departed. We confess our sins together. Then we celebrate the Eucharist on most Sundays. Eucharist is from a Greek word meaning “thanksgiving.” It can also be referred to as the Mass or Communion.
We come to the Lord’s table to celebrate the memorial of our redemption in a sacrament in which we believe Christ is truly present. We then thank God for feeding us with this spiritual food and go forth into the world.
The sacrament is available to all who have been baptized in water and Spirit.
Most Sundays, we have music with piano or organ.
Children’s activity boxes are provided for children 10 and under.
After dismissal from worship, all are welcome to join us in a refreshment hour in our conveniently located social room and library.
Free on street parking is available.
